Centres
The SG Cares Volunteer Centres (VCs) are operated by community-based organisations that are responsible for building volunteer capacity, developing volunteer management capabilities, and fostering community partnerships to strengthen the towns’ effectiveness in meeting community needs.
With a deep understanding of their towns and with the help of community partners and volunteers, the SG Cares VCs are able to effectively identify areas of need and channel resources to address them and plug the gaps.
By March 2022, all 24 towns in Singapore will have an operational VC to coordinate the development and deployment of volunteer and resources to meet community needs. This brings opportunities to donate and volunteer closer to all, be it where we live, work, or study.
